I am world's worst blogger. Life tends to get too busy and the last thing I think about doing is blogging. Long story short... this must change because when we move home (to Hawaii) next week I will need to keep my family updated, not to mention my friends!
Well, Parker is now 7 and 1/2 months old, and full of ornery-ness (if that's a word). He is his daddy's child, and will stay true to that from now on apparently. He isn't crawling yet, but he can do the roll around that room thing pretty well, and the scoot backwards game just as well.
Caleb is doing very well over in Iraq. We only have a few weeks left of this deployment, which honestly feels so weird to me. You get into the routine and mind set of your husband being gone, that when it's time for them to come home you don't believe it until you see their face. But Parker and I are so beyond excited for daddy to be home. We have missed him so much these past 9 months!
As I mentioned earlier, we are moving home a week from today! I am a stressful mess, that is for sure. We have no idea where we are going to live because the Army housing let us down by saying we would be lucky to get anything before mid-July. So needless to say I am going to check with Navy housing and see if they have anything to offer, but off-post is looking like a strong possibility as well.
Over all the Miller family is doing very well and we are excited to be an actual family again. If it takes me a while to blog again, know it's because I am moving and probably lost my mind somewhere along the way! But once we are settled in Hawaii I should be more active on here :)

Downhill side of deployment!
Whew! It has been a crazy few months, so now that I am back to my blogging routine I will make up for lost time in a nut shell.
We will start with Parker...
Our sweet boy is 4 months old now! He is such his daddy's child, at least as far as his attitude goes. His personality shines through more and more everyday. If he doesn't want his pacifier he will spit it at least 6 inches away from his mouth, so he will pretty much tell you what he wants, and what he abosolutely will not tolerate. He is weighing in now at 16 lbs and is 25 inches tall. We got the go ahead to start on some baby food. So far he has done well with the rice cereal, and we started sweet potatoes, but he doesn't seem too fond of those. He is also starting to figure out how to sit up, granted he can't do it on his own yet, but he does refuse to lay down. If he is awake he better be sitting up. haha! He loves talking to his daddy on the webcam, they sit there and laugh at each other and talk more than me and him do (well not really, but they talk alot!) Parker did just recently take his first airplane trip to Montana, he did SO well! It gave me hope for our trip to Hawaii, which by the way is in 3 months! He hung out with his second cousins, great aunt and uncle, as well as his great grandparents, and saw his first substatial snow.
Now onto Caleb
Our soldier is doing pretty well over in the sandbox. He is working night shifts on ECP and seems to be enjoying it. He says he prefers it over his motor-pool job. He is pretty exhausted 90% of the time though, that's what you get when you work as hard as he does. We are all looking forward to his redeployment which is roughly 5 months away (WHOOHOO!) From what I've heard from him he has been working out quite a bit and I am sad to say that he will look way better than me when we go to the beach... *sigh* oh well. Good job hubs!
Last but not least... Me
I am doing very well, just trucking through deployment and getting things ready to go back home to Hawaii. Have I mentioned that its 3 months away? :) I have been trying to lose some weight and so far I have lost 5 lbs... only 10 more until I reach my ideal weight. Can someone please give me some inspiration? Parker is definitely giving me a run for my money, thank goodness my mom is here to help out. One awesome thing that has happened for me in the past week or so, is my AMAZING husband told me to go out and buy a Macbook! I listened, and I absolutely LOVE it! Thank you hubby!
As a whole, our little family is doing very well, just getting the last bit of deployment out of the way and looking forward to all being together again. Thank you for all the prayers and support we have received!
